SISTER MALA'S TESTIMONY |

The Lord is my Shepherd - P. 23:1
In February 1996, strong and well-built Mala Mukherjee, wife of Evangelist Kunal Mukherjee
(86 Kgs of weight and 5’ 6” tall) suddenly developed a respiratory complaint. Slowly but increasingly
she started sensing casual throat complaints and numbness on left-hand side of her body.
Medical check-ups reported them to be the resultant of Hypo-Thyroid complications. Days passed by.
Mala and family faced a severe disaster in their personal life. Came 1997, when Mala, in addition to
the numbness in her body began experiencing excruciating pain in the waist ascending up through the
spinal cord which used to spread all over the upper limbs. It was declared CANCER IN THE NERVES.
Going through a tremendous financial chaos, Mala was left without proper medication. Finally in 1999
November, she was admitted to NIHMANS, Bangalore. This is a prominent research centre for Neurological
ailments. A special Medical Board was formed for Mala and many proficient Neurologists diagnosed the case
as “VASCULITIS OF NERVES”, meaning that the whole vascular system had become defunct, and the internal
veins were almost eroded up. The Board eventually gave up all hopes of Mala’s life.
Mala lost her vision, her speech and her digestive system went out of control. Her entire body became
deformed. She was reduced to skin and bones, weighing just 40 Kgs.

Despite all this, Mala never lost faith in her TRUE SHEPHERD.
In June 2000, Kunal had to shift to Hyderabad with an assignment. Mala was referred to Kamineni Hospitals.
Heretoo the doctors were utterly confused. In spite of all possible medications and to make the matter worse,
she developed an additional complication: NON-STOP BLEEDING. While all attempts failed, the doctors
decided to take the risk of doing a surgery on Mala to arrest bleeding.
God had a different plan for Mala’s life. He, through many visions showed Mala that He would heal her in
His own time. Mala held on to that faith. While Mala was almost ready to get admitted in the hospital
for the OPERATION, one evening through a Prayer by a servant of God in a T.V Program, the Word
of God fell upon Mala and her suffering and pain soon came to an end. HALLELLUYAH !

Mala is a great support to Evangelist Kunal in all his ministerial activities.
God has built up Sister Mala a “ GREAT WOMAN OF PRAYER”.
